ASFITEC -Singular Action for the Promotion of R&D in Cantabria- is a program to provide technical training to Cantabrian companies, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to independently and autonomously develop, in the short to medium term, the methodologies, procedures and tools necessary to take part in national and international R&D calls for proposals.

This program offers companies and self-employed individuals, at no cost, technical assistance for the implementation of a practical development project. This consists of taking a project idea and turning it into a formal assistance application submitted to a national or European R&D call, to be considered as a milestone in the learning process.

Participating companies must have a project which is both innovative and technically and financially viable, with a positive impact on the region and suitable for practical development.

For the purposes of this program, projects from companies will be considered eligible if they meet the following criteria (based on the supporting information provided in the attached report):

-Has a project proposal intended for submission to national or international public calls: 

• Individual project.
• Leader of a collaborative project without an identified partner.
• Leader of a collaborative project with an identified partner.
• A partner in a collaborative project.

-The proposed project must include own financial participation (either individually or as a partner) over 200,000 €.

-The project duration must exceed 12 months.

Applications to participate must be submitted through the SODERCAN Assistance Management Platform.
