Through this program SODERCAN’s Business Development Area aims to facilitate the initial contact of students of the University of Cantabria with the world of business, and enable the incorporation of highly qualified personnel into recently created companies.
The Cantabria Entrepreneurs project aims to provide support and address the challenges faced by start-ups in the early stages of operation. To this end, SODERCAN has established a collaboration agreement with the UNIVERSITY OF CANTABRIA with the aim of facilitating the training of university students, giving them practical business experiences to complement their academic training with the support and mentoring of practicing professionals, enhancing the opportunity for employment in companies in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
Through this initiative, participating companies will be able to have two internships of 6 months each, with students of the University of Cantabria. The offered position, in terms of the tasks to be performed, must correspond to the academic field of the candidates.
This program does not entail any cost for participating companies. The internship program is managed by the COIE (Centre for Professional Orientation and Employment) of the University of Cantabria. SODERCAN will provide the COIE of the University of Cantabria with applications from companies which meet the conditions and requirements established in the collaboration agreement.
Applications to access this service must be made online through the SODERCAN Support Management System. The deadline for application is December 31, 2024.
The target recipients are companies and entrepreneurs active since January 1, 2020.
