Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs could be for you!
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program gives new and aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, running small businesses in other countries.
The exchange of experience, skills and knowledge takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, helping the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small or medium enterprise a small firm.. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on their business and gets the opportunity to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.
Stays are partially financed by the European Union and take place in 37 countries with the help of local contact points such as SODERCAN.
Participants in the program may be new entrepreneurs (those planning on starting a business or having done so in the last three years) or experienced, (over 3 years running a company as the proprietor or as a member of the board of directors involved in entrepreneurship).
One essential condition is to be a permanent resident in one of the 37 countries participating in the program.
How to register
New or experienced entrepreneurs who wish to participate in this exchange program must
register on the program website and select a local contact point in their country of residence. This contact point will provide orientation during the entire process.
SODERCAN, as the local contact point, offers orientation and support throughout the entire process.
Once the application has been accepted, the interested entrepreneur can find all the program applications that may be of interest and find suitable matches with the help of the local contact point.
