The Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria, through SODERCAN, has launched a new website to attract business projects with foreign capital and the creation of investment opportunities in Cantabria.

Under the existing brand of ‘Investin Cantabria’ (https://investincantabria.com/), the new website offers potential users and investors all the necessary information on the advantages that Cantabria offers as an attractive destination for the implementation of business projects.

It is a dynamic and attractive website, in Spanish and English, which combines design and technology to showcase the potential of Cantabria and facilitate the connection between investors and projects, in an intuitive, agile and direct way.

This tool is part of a proactive strategy with which the Society for the Development of Cantabria, in line with the Government’s guidelines, seeks to anticipate possible opportunities, with the main objective of analysing, studying and detecting possible investment projects in our region.

Within the framework of this strategy, new lines of analysis are being developed, exploring new scenarios and establishing as a priority relationships with various relevant organizations in the field of attracting foreign direct investment (FDI).

FEATURES OF THE NEW WEBSITE

As a fundamental piece in this strategy, the new Investin Cantabria website has a clear and visually attractive interface that facilitates navigation and contact with SODERCAN to speed up decision-making; clear content and access to all the necessary information to generate more business opportunities; and a responsive design to ensure an optimal experience from all types of devices, from smartphones to desktops.

In terms of security, the website uses the latest technologies to protect users’ confidential information. In addition to this, there is an SEO strategy that improves the positioning of the website in search engines and makes it visible to a greater number of potential investors.

In addition, it is a living project that integrates web analysis tools to measure the performance of the platform in real time and make decisions that allow us to optimize the website to increase the conversion rate from visitor to investor.

STRUCTURE

The structure of Investin Cantabria includes several sections: from a general description of Cantabria, to a visual development of our connections with Europe and America through port and airport, relevant indicators and regional economic data, and information on our quality of life, industrial fabric of the region, clusters, universities, research institutes and development centers,  with a special mention to the Science and Technology Park (PCTCAN) and the La Pasiega project, a cornerstone that will generate new opportunities and regional economic development.

Through this project, SODERCAN offers potential investors support throughout the decision-making process involved in the implementation of a business project: location, management of procedures, grants and subsidies, global analysis, etc.

The Minister of Industry and president of SODERCAN, Eduardo Arasti, explained that it is a living and constantly evolving project aimed at attracting potential foreign investors interested in the development of new projects in Cantabria.

Along with the quality of life offered by Cantabria, its rich cultural and natural heritage and its tourist attractions, the website highlights the strategic location of the Autonomous Community and its great industrial tradition, as well as its leading research centres.

All this “makes our land a perfect place to settle, to invest and to retain, recover and attract talent”, said Arasti.

The information from the enquiries received through the website will allow a complete analysis of the sectors in Cantabria that arouse interest abroad and the geographical areas of origin of those seeking business and investment opportunities in Cantabria.

In turn, the in-depth analysis of metrics will facilitate the constant adaptation of the project to the interests of potential investors.
